The Ortho Care Mattress is part of the Backcare Collection from Dura Beds, a range of mattresses designed to offer a more supportive feel whilst also offering superb value for money. This mattress is built around an Open Coil spring unit and has layers of fibre fillings on the surface. This mattress also has a reinforced frame to ensure that the sidewalls are as strong as they can be.

The Dura Beds Ortho Care Mattress is ideal for those who wanter a firmer feel but still want an element of comfort on the surface of the mattress. The Ortho Care is one of our firmer mattresses but is rare in that it has a quilted, smooth surface. Most firmer feel mattresses have a tufted finish, which binds the fillings in place.

The Open Coil springs used in this mattress boast a 12.5 gauge wire, which is firmer than the wires used in most springs. An Open Coil spring unit is made from one continuous wire, which creates a mesh of springs. As body weight is applied, the weight is spread out over the mattress instantly. Open Coil springs are the oldest and most commonly used springs in the World, so you can be sure that they’re efficient and durable.

Dura Beds has added layers of fibre fillings to the surface of this mattress. The fillings are breathable and layered, allowing air to flow freely through the mattress, keeping it cool and comfortable at all times. These fillings are high-density so further add to the firmer feel of this mattress.

This is a quilted mattress, a smooth-surfaced mattress that is finished in a very tactile stretch-knit material that is silky-smooth and very durable. There are handles on the sides of the mattress to aid movement when required, and as a turnable mattress, you should be aiming to turn and rotate the mattress seasonally, alternating between the two. We would also recommend that this process is done weekly in the first month after delivery to aid even settlement.

The Roma Deluxe mattress is made to a high standard and boasts an Open Coil spring system and deep layers of fillings. This mattress also has a reinforced sidewall frame to strengthen the mattress.

This is an unusual firm mattress, as it is a quilted, smooth-topped mattress, whereas most firm mattresses are tufted. The Roma Deluxe has a firm and supportive spring system at its core, and is topped off with fibre fillings, which are in a high density so to further add to the firm feel. The Open Coil spring unit used in this mattress boasts a 12.5 gauge wire, which is used to create all the springs, all linked by the same continuous wire. As weight is applied to the springs, it is spread out evenly and instantly to give good support.

The fillings used in this mattress are breathable fibre fillings. The high-density fibre pad means that the firmness is not compromised, but the fact they’re breathable allows air to move freely through the mattress, keeping it cool and fresh at all times. This is a quilted mattress with a smooth and even surface, which has been finished off with a soft, stretch-knit fabric that feels silky-smooth and tactile.

This is a turnable mattress, so will need flipping over once per season, and will also need to be rotated (spun around) once per season, alternating between the two movements.

How much is the delivery?

Our delivery is free to mainland UK. We offer additional services such as room of choice delivery, assembly service and removal of old bed & mattress for an additional cost. Please contact us for more information.

How long will my order take to be delivered?

We aim to deliver your products with 7-14 days. Some location may take a little longer however we will keep in touch with you and update you regularly.

We do not deliver to offshore locations including the Isle of Wight, Isle of Man and the Channel Islands.

Unfortunately, we are currently not delivering to the following postcodes:

IV, PH, AB, DD, KY, PA20+, KA27, LL53, LL60+, TR, PL, TQ, BT, FK8+ & PO31+

We do offer weekend delivery however we are unable to guarantee a delivery date before you make a purchase. Do contact if you would like this option.

We can only deliver the ordered items to the front door of the designated delivery address, if you reside in an apartment or a block of flats, the delivery driver will deliver to the lobby of the building only.

If you have selected for your bed to be assembled, then we will deliver to the room of your choice.
